I always hear the older ones say that problems only go away once we're 6 feet below the ground. This means that having them is a constant part of being alive which is quite a good thing, right? So the question right now isn't really about how to make the problems go away, it's more of what kind of problems do I entertain in my life?
One thing I learned from my coach is that our problems arise with the game that we choose to play. It's like a package deal. Take the example of being an entrepreneur. Being one exempts us from the usual employee problems of not having our own time, limited income based on salary grades, hating a boss, company politics etc and this is what excites me. I'm dealing with a different set of problems and I love it! I embrace problems as part of winning the money game and solving them would mean that I'm closer to my goals.
With this post, I invite you to consider a shift in mindset when looking at problems. I invite you to see them as part of an exciting journey. Now, if your problems don't lead you to the life that you want, then it's time to reassess the game that you chose to play. Perhaps it's time to level up and play in a different court.
