I am a gold digger.
Contrary to what you may be thinking, I didn't marry a wealthy old man to get money from.
I'm writing this because I was empowered during our book discussion last Friday on "The Financial Planner's View of MLM."
"Prospecting" is the lifeblood of any salesperson's business. In the book that we discussed, the author and our mentor, James Chia said that not everyone understands that prospecting is a sifting-and-sorting process and not a convincing business. A person involved in Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) brings to mind an image of someone convincing "trapped" prospects to sign up as members or distributors. Fortunately for us in the current era, legitimate companies have maintained and even leveled up the standards of getting business partners. (If you are still in the convincing business, you may want to assess if your method is still working.)
I could relate to how he likened the process of prospecting to that of a gold prospector in the Wild West. He made the readers imagine a wizeded old man with a big hat in the sun, looking for gold. He is prepared to do rough work for long hours because there is gold to be found.
In the Community, we have a very big mission and vision. In the journey towards attaining this vision, we are opening our doors for eveyone but at the end of the day, it's those who pass the sifting-and-sorting process with flying colors that join us for the ride of a lifetime. Much like the gold digger willing to go through large areas of soil before finding the ore that glitters, we don't want to waste our time and other people's time convincing or pushing. We keep moving forward because we know that more Filipinos can't wait to be part of the Community's mission and vision, they just need to be informed.
If you believe that you can contribute to our mission of spreading financial education throughout the nation and the world as well as take part in our vision of creating 1,000 US Dollars team-made multi-millionaires by year 2020, I encourage you to know more about Core Team membership. You may actually be the gold we are looking for.
