We were almost in denial when we found out that my cousin's husband, Major Prisco Tacuboy, was one of the passengers in the plane that crashed in Cotabato yesterday morning. These moments always remind me of my existence in this world and the limited time that I have here. When we went to the wake of the 8 Philippine Air Force officers and personnel this afternoon, it struck me that the youngest person who died was only 23 years old. I asked myself, what has she done before she left this earth? Was she able to live her life to the fullest? These questions made all my concerns much smaller.
Before this incident happened, I was contemplating on starting over with a major project. When I was there, I felt a great sense of peace with what I was about to do. I am willing to start over and do things right. I only have a limited time in this world. Given this, I am willing to experience growth pains all over again and do things the right way. I am so thankful to God for giving me another chance to be a contribution today through this blog. I am set to leave my legacy and I'd be happy to have more people contribute to my work.
As I end this, I invite everyone who reads this blog to spare a few moments in prayer for the souls of the departed officers, personnel and civilian who passed away from the accident. May their families look forward to a life well-lived through the hardwork and contribution of their loved ones who joined our Creator.
Today, you have 100% of your life left.-- Tom Landry, Famous Football Coach
