Where is your Focus?

Allow me to share a very simple yet insightful blog authored by

An amazing phenomonen occurs whenever your attention is focused on a clear, unchanging outcome. Your mind interprets the problems and excuses for failure as “irrelevant” and before you know it, all you can see is the solution.

Let me give you an amazing example (come on…try this yourself).

Just stare at the small black dot in the middle of the painting below and you will begin to see the colored spots disappearing .The more you focus on the dot, the more completely the colored spots become invisible.

How can we relate to this simple exercise? As it is, we have a lot of things going on in our lives right now - work/ school, our finances, our families, our friends/social life, our church commitments and more. Each area of our lives presents both problems and solutions. As a popular statement goes, "What you focus on expands." Which do you choose to focus on?
