"When you look at nature’s learning curve, or what I call the emotional learning curve … that learning curve goes down, before it heads back up. Many people do not want to feel the emotional down before they feel the exhilaration of flying.
Most people are not successful in life because they are not willing to go through this period of personal doubt and emotional frustration. This happens to many of us because we learn in school that mistakes are bad and should be avoided. So we leave school, sit in the nest, the nest of the E and S quadrant and never learn to fly."

When I read this part in "The Business School," it hit a nerve. I realized that most adults that I’ve met are already experts (or striving to be experts) in something. Before we reached that stage, we were also like birds learning to fly. We fell several times and we had to go through challenges along the way. It is possible that most people don’t want to go back to the feeling of being uncomfortable that’s why we become complacent in what we have already achieved and hold on to our laurels.
We have to understand though that going for something bigger than ourselves entails an extra set of challenges and difficulties. Personal doubt and emotional frustration are inevitable. What I recommend is something that works for me – I surround myself with people who have the same vision and goals. I read a lot of books and listen to audios and discuss what I learned to the people whom I know can greatly contribute to my success. I know that being part of the Create Abundance Community will ease the "growing pains" of being an entrepreneur. More than the resources it provides, the support that the community gives is priceless. It's about time that we consider ourselves as part of nature - to allow ourselves to experience uncomfortable things, learn from those experiences and take flight towards higher ground.
