oh no, it's Monday again tomorrow. Traffic. Work. School. Ugh.
Where did the weekend go?
I wish it's Friday again.
I can't wait til Friday!
There. That's the Sunday slump. That feeling of partially enjoying it with your loved ones or by yourself yet somehow dreading it to end because it means that another work or school week would begin. I have to admit that I am still excited for Fridays because well, my husband is still working at an 8-5 schedule and Fridays would mean that he can get to spend more time with me and our daughter during the weekend. But, more often than not, I really don't distinguish the days anymore and I rely heavily on my planner to see my appointments. this is probably one thing that makes us information-age entrepreneurs different from other individuals and traditional business owners. For us, any day is a great day. Any day is the perfect time to do business and to start on something. To learn, to grow, to profit, to experience breakdowns and reach breakthroughs as well as to spend time with the people who matter most to us. We don't have a stigma for Mondays or a sudden energy boost because it's Friday. It doesn't mean that we are better. We are just fortunate to have decided early enough to take control of what we do with our time and who we spend it with. There may be a fortunate few who get to do what they love during weekdays but for most of us, notice that we can only do our passion, our favorite hobbies, relaxation during the "weekend." Why do you think sales fall on a weekend? Or hotels have peak rates during weekends? Or that restaurants are jam-packed on Fridays and Saturdays? Or that people schedule their weddings on a weekend? You get my point right? It's because 93% of the Philippine population have someone dictate their schedules.
Now, I invite you to take on the possibility of being FINANCIALLY FREE. How would your life look like if you can do what you want, when and where you want it and with whom without having a boss looking for you and money is not a concern? Pause for a moment and visualize that.
Feels like everyday is Friday, huh?
