My Dharma

I just finished reading the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra and truly, it deserves a second round of reading. It was so hard to put the book down because each law is connected to the previous one and I was just so excited to learn all of it in one seating! Now, I want to reflect on my insights for the 7th law which is the The Law of Dharma or Purpose in Life.

Everyone has a purpose in life… a unique gift or special talent to give to others.And when we blend this unique talent with service to others,we experience the ecstasy and exultation of our own spirit, which is the ultimate goal of goals.

According to the book, there are 3 components to the Law of Dharma:

1. Each of us is here to discover our true Self, that essentially we are spiritual beings that have taken manifestation in physical form. Each of us is here to discover our higher self or our spiritual self. We must find out for ourselves that inside us is a god or goddess in embryo that wants to be born so that we can express our divinity.
